But as time went by, he noticed his father becoming... something else, as if ghosts of a forgotten past had been whispering secrets into Voljaryk's ears. The Skjöldungar was a legendary Old Norse saga that focused on the Danish Dynasty of Scylding (Skjöldungar). Although most of it was lost in history, it contained tales of a mighty lineage that carried a gift from the gods.
